The former "Ifflandhaus", which was also called "Alte Farb", is a listed building. It has stood in its present form on the Fleischbrücke since 1735. In 1732, the building was largely destroyed by the great flood and rebuilt. As a former residential building, part of the Ribot family's soap factory and most recently a printing house, it has experienced a lot.
Now it has been connected to our guests with the former inn "Silberne Kanne" and we will be writing a new chapter as Das Goldschläger Boutique Hotel from this summer onwards.

Jedes Zimmer ist einem regionalen Motto gewidmet und so schlafen Sie bei uns u.a. im „Storchennest“, dem „Goldenen Dach“, der „Druckerei“, dem „Henseltzimmer“ oder dem „Dackelzimmer“. Wir haben uns viel Mühe gegeben, besondere Themen zu finden und die Zimmer dementsprechend auszustatten – manchmal auch mit einem kleinen Augenzwinkern.

Furnishings
The rooms are well appointed and all have wonderfully comfortable boxspring beds with top-quality furnishings: two pillows per person, cozy bed linen, fluffy towels and fragrant toiletries.
From hairdryers to blackout curtains, from modern TVs to high-speed WLAN - we have tried to think of everything to make your stay as pleasant and perfect as possible. If you should still miss something or have special needs, please do not hesitate to contact us – we will do everything to help you quickly.
Accessibility
Our building is barrier-free, has two elevators and we offer a wheelchair-accessible room.
Baby equipment
Whether for a romantic weekend or a family vacation – we have the best room for your wishes ready and will be happy to organise baby equipment or additional sleeping options.
Breakfast
After sweet dreams, start your day relaxed with a delicious, healthy breakfast, which we will be happy to serve you in the former "Silberne Kanne". There you can also take a look into the "cellar" of the house, where you can see the stone remains of an original, archeologically significant “mikveh”.
Our "Breakfast Team" will strive to fulfil your every wish and you will also find gluten-free products and vegan alternatives on the rich buffet. In summer you can take a seat on the small breakfast terrace.
Guest Lounge
The guest lounge is available to you daily until 10 pm. There you can read a book comfortably, pass the time with board games, or find out about the history of the house. In summer, the balcony over the Schwabach river invites you to enjoy the outdoors.
Dogs
So that your four-legged friend also feels "poodle-well" with us, we prepare the room with some dog treats. Please let us know if your furry friend is accompanying you.
Kitchenette
A kitchenette is available in the serviced apartment - for a longer stay or if you are traveling with loved ones.
Parking
Parking is available just a two-minute walk from the hotel. You can book these at reception – please contact us.
